ARNOLD DAY 3: PRO SHOW AND MORE UK MEDALS

British junior bikini fitness champion Marta Milla won a silver medal for the UK on the final day of the Arnold Classic Europe in Barcelona.

Marta, now competing as a senior, finished second in the up to 172 cm height class to cement her reputation as one of the country’s fastest-rising stars. She is pictured with her silver medal.

Elsewhere Josiah Cave earned a bronze medal in 75 kg bodybuilding. David Henderson, who was again in superb shape, was fifth in the 80 kg division.

A clutch of young new UK stars are emerging across the different categories. Jodie Frazer was a fabulous fifth in wellness; Leticia Vecchi was fifth in her wellness height class and Dominika Korzen finished sixth in junior bikini fitness.

Last night’s IFBB Elite Pro show which included the UK’s Rasto Valent, was a sell-out success.

The five champions came from five countries, reflecting the international nature of the IFBB.

Michal Krizanek won bodybuilding, Dmytro Horobets won men’s physique and Sergey Serechshev took classic physique.

In the female classes, the unstoppable Yana Kuznetsova finished first in bikini fitness and Nikolett Szabo landed the winner’s trophy in fitness.
