ARNOLD: UK ROLL OF HONOUR

After three days of non-stop competition on two stages, the Arnold Classic Europe drew to a close yesterday.

The event began on a high for the UKBFF team with Nick Swann winning gold in masters bodybuilding on the opening morning.

Unfortunately there were no further first places but seven more medals were to come, along with numerous top 10 finishes in deep line-ups stacked with talent.

More than 60 nations took part and the standard throughout was incredibly high.

GOLD Nick Swann, masters bodybuilding aged over 55

SILVER Kristie Sanderson, bodyfitness up to 168 cm

SILVER Marta Mila, bikini fitness up to 172 cm height class

SILVER Waldemar Biernaki, classic physique up to 175 cm

BRONZE Austin Williams, classic bodybuilding up to 180 cm

BRONZE Josiah Cave, bodybuilding up to 75 kg

BRONZE Mahmoud Elmawardy, muscular men's physique up to 175 cm

BRONZE Giuliano Mateas, junior men's physique over 178 cm
