BIG TURNOUT EXPECTED FOR SUNDAY'S SEASON FINALE

Arnold Classic places are among the prizes up for grabs at this weekend's Sugar Classic.

The top competitors will be eligible to compete at both the Arnold Classic Europe and Arnold Classic Africa next year, as well as the prestigious series of IFBB Diamond Cup events and the UKBFF British Championships.

Points accumulated at international events, such as Arnold Classics and Diamond Cups, count towards the IFBB Amateur World Ranking, which this year awarded $300,000 to the top 10 athletes in the various classes.

The show at De Montfort Hall will be the start of many people's bodybuilding journeys and the message is clear – if you're good enough there are ample opportunities to progress within the UKBFF and IFBB.

One of last year's Sugar Classic winners – Ade Bishop – is now an IFBB Elite Pro preparing to step on stage at this weekend's Women's World Championships in China.

UKBFF vice-president Dennis 'Sugar' Christopher, after whom the event is named, said: “Good luck to all competitors and thank you for supporting the UKBFF. I look forward to seeing you all on Sunday.”

Registration is at 9am and the event is due to start at noon.

Tickets can be ordered in advance from the De Montfort Hall box office on 0116 2333111 or they will be available at the venue on the day.
