ADE BISHOP WINS GOLD AT THE ARNOLD CLASSIC AFRICA!

Ade Bishop is celebrating becoming an Arnold Classic champion and an IFBB Elite Pro after winning the amateur women's physique class in South Africa today.

The $80,000 Arnold Classic Africa is one of four big international IFBB events taking place in three continents this weekend, along with the Diamond Cup in Poland, the Elite Pro qualifier in Canada and the Balkans Championships.

From a British perspective, Ade takes pride of place. The former bodyfitness competitor turned up in her usual shredded shape to take the women's physique class.

An overjoyed Ade will now take part in the Saturday night pro show in Johannesburg, where she will compete for the $8,500 women's physique prize money.

“The show was incredible No words. I'm, speechless,” says Ade.

The Arnold Classic Africa pro show actually has more prize money for women than men – which shows the IFBB's commitment to the female classes and willingness to break new ground.

The pro show also has nine pro categories – another record.
