Why did you start bodybuilding ?

When I was 14 years I read bodybuilding magazines and watched Arnold Schwarzenegger in Pumping Iron. This inspired me and that was when I decided I wanted to be a bodybuilder. I used bricks and rocks as weights and trained with anything I could find around the house.

What are your contest goals for 2018?

To win IFBB contests and hopefully IFBB Elite Pro shows.

Are you a fan of high intensity training?

Yes, I do like high intensity training. Four weeks before a show, I do high volume intensity training. I normally do 5 or 6 sets and each set has 25 reps.

Body parts you most and least like training

My favourite body parts are chest and arms. They are my strong points. I don't have a least favourite exercise because the key to having a good physique is to enjoy all training.

Do you have a training partner?

I have a training partner and he is very good. He always gives me motivation and support.

What is your training split?

Day 1: Chest

Day 2: Leg and calves

Day 3: Rest

Day 4: Shoulders and triceps

Day 5: Back and biceps

Day 6: Rest

Day 7: All-body circuit training

Preferred method of fat loss

I do cardio for 30 minutes in the morning and for 30 minutes in the evening. When i am preparing for a show I cut out carbs and increase my protein intake. I find this achieves the best results.

Favourite form of cardio

My favourite cardio is the cross trainer, as it gives me the results I want.

What is your opinion on fasted cardio?

In my opinion, fasted cardio is the best way to burn fat. The reason I believe this is because it makes you push your body to the max to gain the most out of your workout.
