Olga won silver in masters bodyfitness and bronze in the over 163 cm bodyfitness height class, narrowly missing out on an IFBB Elite Pro card.

She is on a roll: last month she won the British Championships in masters bodyfitness and placed in the top six at the Arnold Classic Europe.

“I'm very pleased. I was not expecting such a good result,” she says. “It shows that I'm going in the right direction and gives me motivation to go further.”

Olga next plans to compete at the Sugar Classic in Leicester on November 18 then start prepping for next year. “I'm honoured to be part of team UKBFF and represent the UK on an international stage,” she says.

Lisa-Marie Graham's fine year continued with fourth in bikini fitness up to 169 cm.

Bridget Foster, who like Lisa-Marie won her height class at the British finals, was ninth of 21 in bikini fitness up to 164 cm.

Louis Moylan's super shape has made a big impression in classic bodybuilding this year. He won his height class at last month's British Championships and put in another excellent showing in Rome to claim fifth.

Wellness attracted another big line-up but that didn't prevent Leticia Vecchi finishing sixth.

All UK athletes made the top 10 at a tough international event – congratulations to them all.

The Diamond Cup was also held in conjunction with the first ever IFBB Elite Pro World Championships in classic physique, which was won by Spain's Germán Pastor.
