DIAMOND AMBITIONS

Mizan Rahman and Angelika Prejna have stayed on their diets for a fortnight since Sugar’s Classic to join athletes from other IFBB-affiliated federations around the world at the two-day Diamond Cup Ukraine.

The event, which is being organised by the IFBB federation in Ukraine along with the Ukrainian government's Ministry of Youth and Sports, is Europe's last Diamond Cup event of 2018.

Five IFBB Elite Pro cards are at stake, and the top five in each class will be awarded points for the IFBB World Ranking, which this year distributed $300,000 to the top ranked athletes.

Diamond Cup events present a great opportunity for amateurs to travel, compete against high quality opposition and attempt to win points towards cash prizes.

Muscular men's physique competitor Miz, who took part in last year's Arnold Classic Europe, said: “I'm hoping to come home with a first place trophy so I have an international win under my belt,” says

Angelika only made her debut at Sugar's Classic but showed outstanding shape and conditioning in wellness.

She said. “I'm in better shape now so I'm really pleased. I've been working on my posing too so this time I will be better.”
