CHLOE GREENWOOD AND DAVID HENDERSON SHINE AT ARNOLD CLASSIC EUROPE
Chloe Greenwood and David Henderson put the UK on the map at this weekend’s Arnold Classic Europe in Spain.
The event, which is the only IFBB-sanctioned Arnold contest in Europe, ends today.
Chloe and David were our only entrants in the IFBB Elite Pro event, which is the highlight of the three-day event.
Chloe, the ‘Powerhouse Princess’ from Ian Morgan’s hardcore Powerhouse gym in Gateshead, made quite an impact on her pro debut, finishing third of 15 in bodyfitness.
The night before, Northern Ireland’s David Henderson claimed fourth place of 15 in the 95kg pro class.
David finished third last year and once again showed what a high quality physique is all about — shape, conditioning and symmetry rather than just bloated size.
Both David and Chloe did enough to suggest they could vie for top spots on the IFBB pro circuit.
The UK has also had some strong performances in the amateur classes.
Fresh from his victory in the English Grand Prix, Etin Nosa took second in masters men’s physique while Seyed Hassan Ravanbakhsh was fourth in masters bodybuilding and Ksenia Morris landed in sixth place in bikini fitness.
