Two of Britain's most talented up and coming female physique athletes are competing in big international IFBB events this weekend.

Connie Slyziut, who was British junior champion in bodyfitness last year, makes her IFBB Elite Pro debut at the €26,000 Nordic Cup & Expo in Lahti, Finland.

Connie, a talented young musician, won her pro card at the amateur portion of this event last year and will now be hoping to make her mark in the paid ranks.

The event, organised by well known promoter KP Ourama, has five pro classes.

This weekend also sees the latest IFBB Diamond Cup event, which takes place in Katowice, Poland.

The event has €12,500 prize money as well as IFBB Elite Pro cards up for grabs.

Marta Mila, last year's British junior champion in bikini fitness, who placed second in the seniors at the Arnold Classic Europe last weekend, is among those taking part.
